Fujifilm, Sony or Canon? Read this article before deciding

  Each camera brand has its own advantages, for example professional cameras such as Sony, Fujifilm and Canon. These 3 big brands dominate the camera market more than any other brand. Both Canon, Fujifilm and Sony are large camera supply companies, of course everyone feels confused about what are the advantages of each of these brands. These 3 camera brands provide excellent quality camera results, each having its own uniqueness and also different characteristics between brands

  Sony is a camera with fast autofocus and this is very superior. The autofocus on this camera is far

superior to Fujifilm or Canon, many videographers or photographers use Sony cameras that are

used to document fast movements such as motorcycle racing or wildlife photography which really

need fast autofocus, if you use slow autofocus you will definitely miss the moment. 

  Examples of cameras that are in great demand in Indonesia are the Alpha series.

These cameras are very compact, easy to carry and have enough features for a videographer

or photographer. There is already a body stabilizer that makes the camera more stable when

capturing moments. Sony Alpha 6000 to Alpha 6400 are cameras with high demand,

with APSC sensors but the results are very good with a small size camera and a relatively

affordable price. 

  For Full Frame type cameras or cameras used by professionals there is the

Sony Alpha 7 series, the sensor is large and reaches 48mp making this professional

camera much in demand by photographers and videographers in the world,

but the shape is not as compact as the series below which makes this camera have

more features to support the quality produced by the A7 series cameras.

  Next Fujifilm, this camera is very well known in Indonesia because many use it

either to document vacations to work, but the work that is familiar with Fuji Film

cameras is MUA where many use Fujifilm cameras because the color quality

produced by this camera is very bright and does not require editing , once you take a photo,

it's ready to share, so you don't waste your time to doing editing.

  Another advantage is regarding the camera design that Fujifilm offers, for someone who

prefers a camera design that is unique and has a retro or vintage impression, of course

Fujifilm has advanced ahead of Sony and Canon cameras. Fujifilm does provide a unique

and vintage design but with modern capabilities. Unlike Sony and Canon, which provide

a more modern design.

  The grip that is given to the Fujifilm camera is also very comfortable in the hand,

the rubber that is there is very soft and doesn't feel painful in the hand if we hold the

camera for too long. Not only that, the camera strap provided is also very unique because

it has a simple and retro design, matching the design of Fujifilm cameras.

  For the quality of Fujifilm camera shots it is very inversely proportional to

Canon and Sony if we compare colors, because the colors on Fujifilm cameras are

more contrasting than those 2 brands even with all brands. So many women are happy

with this camera, the retro design but the color quality is very colorful and this color is

Fujifilm's flagship, until now there is no camera that can match the color quality

from Fujifilm if the photos are not edited, but with amazing color quality,

this Fujifilm camera series doesn't have many lens choices, unlike Sony or Canon which

have many types and choices of lenses, even brands that produce lenses don't all produce

for Fujifilm cameras. If another camera uses a 50mm lens size in Fujifilm it becomes 56mm.

  In terms of price, of course Fujifilm is still cheaper than Sony cameras.

The Fujifilm series that are often used and easy to reach are the X-A and X-H

series where these cameras are like pocket cameras but are mirrorless cameras with a

very retro and unique design. Then there is the X-T series where this camera is the

opponent of the alpha series on Sony, and the unique thing is that Fujifilm does not have a

camera with a Fullframe format, so the opponent of the Alpha 7 series is the X-H series

which uses the APSC format but the results can be against the Sony Alpha series.

 Finally there is Canon, where this camera has enthusiasts from all types of work to

activities. 7 out of 10 people must have used a Canon camera. Sturdy design is the

main identity of Canon cameras. However, the type of Canon camera that is often

used is a DSLR type which cannot be compared to the Fujifilm and Sony camera

series which are mirrorless. Canon also released a mirrorless camera with the name

Canon EOS R where this camera was released last year and is quite in demand.

    For those who are just learning photography, of course there are many aspects

that must be tried, consumers feel that this Canon brand camera is much easier

to operate compared to other brands, because the category settings are very clear

and can be applied immediately, unlike other brands which are more complex,

so that sometimes it can only produce quality images if used by those who are

already reliable. For the price category itself, it actually returns to the series or

type that you make as your choice. For those who choose the high series, of course,

it is definitely expensive, but if you compare the quality or features that are the same

as those of other brands, you can see for yourself that the price difference is indeed

very large. Canon itself is quite cheap.

  Canon is divided into 4 series, i call it 4 digits, 3 digits, 2 digits and 1 digit.

For example the 3 digit series is 1200 and others where this camera series is

the lowest series from Canon and is suitable for beginners so the results

are quite good. Then 3 digits are 600d and others where this camera already has

additional features such as an LCD that can be rotated up to WIFI on each camera,

then 2 digits like 60D where this camera is more war-resistant, aka durable

because it gets the nickname of a semi-professional camera. the last one

has 1 digit, namely 6D and others, this series of cameras has excellent durability

and image quality compared to the 3 series below it. 

  Many and inexpensive lens choices are the main weapon on Canon cameras,

but each lens also has its own quality where the lens also affects the image results.

Canon's main identity is the natural color that is produced but still sharp,

for those who like natural colors it is very suitable for Canon cameras. However,

the autofocus on this camera is still relatively slow a  than other competitors. 

  The conclusion that can be drawn from my personal experience when using these 3

brands is that it depends on us, the characteristics of the photos also affect it because

I like colorful and simple colors, so I use a Fujifilm camera as my main camera.

But it's undeniable that Sony's autofocus is really a winner, I photographed fast dance

movements very suitable using Sony. Meanwhile, in my opinion, Canon is suitable if

you want to learn how to use and operate a camera so that when you operate your camera

smoothly, you can upgrade to a brand that suits your characteristics and tastes.
